Our Objectives
Create Awareness and Education: Increase public and stakeholder awareness through seminars, workshops, and performances. Develop educational programs and collaborate with institutions to integrate cultural conservation into academic curricula.
Adopt and Promote Documentation Technologies: Utilize Photography, LiDAR scans, photogrammetry, and other evolving technologies to create digital twins of historical monuments. Establish and maintain digital and physical repositories for information and scale models.
Provide Support and Collaboration: Provide financial and non-financial support for preservation projects. Collaborate with governmental, non-governmental, and international bodies to further conservation efforts. Recognize and reward contributions to cultural preservation.
Research and Documentation: Document and research practices related to creation and preservation of cultural monuments such as building, embellishment, and conservation techniques, handicraft styles, and processes, and propagate the same through seminars, publications, and training.
Publish Information: Make available in print or digital form information related to historical monuments including immersive experiences, digital models, point clouds, object files, including maintenance of web-sites with free or regulated access rights.
Create and Maintain Physical Installations: Create and maintain physical installations and high-fidelity scale models to facilitate learning through interactive and observational experience.

Bharat Virasat was set up as a not-for-profit body in 2024 by individuals passionate about history, art, and architecture.
We utilize cutting-edge technologies like Photography, LiDAR scans, photogrammetry, Augmented and Virtual Reality experiences, advanced 3D printing, and other evolving technologies to establish both digital and physical repositories of these architectural marvels.
